We require an experienced Supervisor Plumber to join our Facility Management team on Rottnest Island. This is a full-time ‘live on island’ position for a minimum one year contract.
Reporting to the Manager of Projects & Maintenance, you will be required to coordinate and facilitate the reactive and planned preventative plumbing and gas maintenance works. In addition the role will provide essential support to the utilities and projects teams.
To be successful, you will have proven plumbing contracting experience in the facilities management or construction industry along with a proven track record of supervising staff. Experience working in the tourism industry or front-line customer service will be highly regarded.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum three (3) years supervision experience
- Plumbing Trade Licence
- Gas Install and Servicing Licence
- Backflow Licence
- Current Drivers Licence
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Confined Space Certificate
- Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
- Available to work flexible shifts across a seven (7) day roster as required
- Waste Water Treatment or Desalination Plant exposure (Desirable)
- Restricted Asbestos Licence (Desirable)
